Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Technician in the
city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
As a Manufacturing Technician you will:
Operates and maintains downstream secondary equipment.
Measures, weighs, and counts products and materials; removes
completed or defective products or materials, placing them in
specified areas.
Loads products and materials into package processing equipment.
Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products.
Inspects product packaging, containers, and materials to ensure
that appearance, seals, and labels conform to established
standards.
Ensures that cases and pallets are configured safely and in
accordance with standards.
Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Cleans
machinery, containers, materials, or work areas using cleaning
solutions, sweeps floors and empties trash.
Maintains scheduled production throughput to meet team goals for
reliability and budget standards.
Completes required documentation
Uses wrapping machines, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other
equipment to prepare pallets of product for movement.
Demonstrates and understands safety as a core value and follows the
key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution;
reinforces and coaches others to do the same
Understands and follows established safety guidelines, consistently
complies with all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, Lock Out Tag
Out)
Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs.
Support EHS / Safety culture
Maintains product quality through adherence to Good Manufacturing
Practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product
specifications and quality procedures. Monitors and documents
quality measures using analytical tools.
Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives
and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
This is a full time opportunity. Hours Mon- Friday 3pm -11pm + OT
Saturdays
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Proven, reliable work history.
Production or distribution environment
Operation of manual and automated packaging equipment
Performing quality tests using analytical tools
Using manual or automated systems to gather and record on
operational and quality metrics.
Pay Rate: $21.50 Per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
